Verse of the month: May 2017

“Abraham was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.” (Hebrews 11:10)

Approaching Toronto (Canada) by train

Abraham was a pilgrim: he had been called out of one city (Ur) to go to another – a heavenly city that could be visualised only with the eye of faith, but is nevertheless more ‘real’ and ‘solid’ than any place on this earth. And that heavenly city is our destination too.
